In Materials and Structures 402, we were challenged with creating a concrete casting using a mold that could be reused for building. I decided to look to the truss and to experiment with the forms it could create within its own triangular voids. By stacking the trusses and filling them with concrete, they create triangular like forms that can come together in many different ways to form seating. When stacking and offsetting the trusses they create stair like ridges that lock the pieces together.
