The City of Campbell River is a former industrial town on the coast of Vancouver Island. The City is wanting to shed its old image and transform an aged downtown into a more vibrant city centre. One way to help revitalize the downtown is reducing the amount of parking lots and turning these parcels into places one can live and work. Revitalize the River is an initiative to help envision these ideas.
This is a project concept that was presented to the Campbell River City Council, to show some of the opportunities for development in the city centre. This mixed use project is located on the outer edge of the City Centre. The ground floor has live/work studios and commercial space, while the upper floors houses apartments that vary in size.
