Hello all!

To wrap up the last few days of my trip, I’m sharing my last travel post here on my new blog! If you want to read more about my travel adventures go to: www.groovyhoovey.tumblr.com. 🙂

Here is a picture of London’s skyline that I took on my last day. I think this picture is a good representation of my trip as a whole. This picture reminds me of what I sought to do in so many places I visited. As a lover of cities, buildings and all things design, I always wanted to feel the vibe of a city on the streets and understand what it looked like from above. In all of the cities that I visited, I would somehow find myself going to the highest hills or buildings just to get a view from above. It always gave me a new perspective from what was felt on the street level. It gave me a feeling of awe whenever I looked at these spectacular cities that are so full of beauty and history. So here it is, the last hill that I tackled to take in the beauty of London and the sun setting from above. So many hills tackled, stairs climbed and views that I’ll never forget.

Lastly, in every village or city that I visited, I met incredible friends that I will have for the rest of my life. My friend Heather, who is a sister of a friend back home, took me up to this spot and told me stories about living and growing up in England. It was a great way to spend my last night. It is the friends and family that I met for the first time that made this trip so amazing. Whether you hosted me for a night (or a week in some cases!), took me to the best lookouts in your city or just simply took the time to make me feel at home, I want to say a BIG “thank you.” Thank you for making me never feel alone in what was a “solo” trip. I felt and still feel so much love.
